Tesla 7.2 Rear Screen complete Installation Tutorial:
Tools required for installation:
- Plastic pry tool
Installation precautions:
- Before starting the installation, make sure to turn off the screen power.
- Read the instructions carefully for a quicker installation.
- Adjust the date and time settings manually to ensure correct time display. Follow these steps:
- Click on "Android App" and open "Android Settings".
- Select "Date and Time" and disable the "Automatically confirm date and time" option.
- Set the local correct time manually.
Installation Steps:

Pry open and remove the plastic baffle located at the bottom of the rear vent outlet.

Use the prybar to pry open the air outlet of the original vehicle and remove it.

Unplug the harness interface of the original USB charging module.

Take out the harness from the packaging box. Insert the black interface through the gap at the bottom left of the air outlet and pull it out from above.

Connect the seat adjustment harness to the green plug and pull the harness towards the passenger seat.

On the side of the rear co-driver, pry off the seat adjustment baffle using a pry plate. Disconnect the plug and connect it with the adapter plug.

Turn off the power on the main screen. Unplug the blue CANbus harness of the original vehicle and connect the white CANbus adapter plug. Reinstall the plastic baffle back to the original vehicle.

Take out the 7.2" screen from the packaging box. Plug in the power cable and USB charging control cable of the screen respectively.

Place the harnesses into the area below the air outlet. Finally, install the screen back to its original position.
Once the installation is complete, you can proceed with turning on the screen power and verifying the functionality. Make sure all connections are secure and the screen is functioning properly before using the vehicle.
